Batley and Spen Neighbourhood

Batley and Spen is a mixed area in many ways.  It has both rural and urban areas, a mixture of different levels of prosperity from affluent to deprived and the population is very mixed in its ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The area has a rich history and heritage.

The groups are also diverse, from youth groups to tenants’ groups to model enthusiasts.
